โฆษกของทั้งแอปเปิลและอินเทลออกมาให้ข่าวว่า iPhone ไม่ได้ใช้ซีพียูอินเทลแต่อย่างใด มีเพียง Apple TV เพียงตัวเดียวเท่านั้นที่ใช้
ข่าวนี้เป็นการหักปากกาเซียนที่ระบุว่าเป็น XScale แน่นอน ในขณะที่ยังไม่มีใครรู้แน่ชัดว่าเป็นอะไรกันแน่ ทาง Ars Technica ได้วิเคราะห์ว่าเป็น Samsung!
